Vision/PolicyEnvironmental Targets

The Nippon Chemi-Con Group sets environmental targets based on "Nippon Chemi-Con's Environmental Policy" considering action plans by electrical and electronics industries.

Effective Action on Global Warming Prevention
by Japanese Electrical and Electronics Industries

Medium- to Long-term Targets

Energy Conservation
Application range Nippon Chemi-Con Group*
Medium-term target In light of the "Carbon Neutrality Action Plan" by electrical and electronics industries, we have set our improvement target for energy consumption per unit at an annual average of 1% or higher towards FY2030.
Long-term target In light of the common goal set by electrical and electronics industries, we have set our improvement target for energy consumption per unit at an annual average of 1% or higher towards FY2050.
Carbon Neutral
Application range Nippon Chemi-Con Group (manufacturing bases in Japan)
Medium-term target To realize carbon neutrality by 2050, we will pursue a reduction of approximately 46% for CO2 emissions caused by our production operations in FY2030 on a FY2013 basis.
Long-term target To realize carbon neutrality by 2050, we will engage in activities to reduce CO2 emissions.
Water Resources (Water Risks)
Application range Nippon Chemi-Con Group*
Medium-term target Considering water risks, we aim to improve water usage per unit by an annual average of 1% or higher until FY2030.
Long-term target Considering water risks, we aim to improve water usage per unit by an annual average of 1% or higher towards FY2050.
Waste Management
Application range Nippon Chemi-Con Group (manufacturing bases in Japan)
Medium-term target For measures on final disposals of industrial waste (including plastic waste) based on the 3R, we aim to establish a final disposal rate of 1.0% or lower until FY2030 and improve further.
Long-term target For measures on final disposals of industrial waste (including plastic waste) based on the 3R promoted by electrical and electronics industries, we aim to establish a final disposal rate of 0.5% or lower until FY2050 and improve further.
Resource Conservation
Application range Nippon Chemi-Con Group (manufacturing bases in Japan)
Medium-term target We aim to effectively use resources and achieve a recycling rate of 99.0% or higher towards FY2030.
Long-term target We aim to establish a recycling rate of 99.5% or higher towards FY2050 and improve further by effectively using resources.
