Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Procurement
The Nippon Chemi-Con Group does not simply engage in the pursuit of profits. In accordance with the Nippon Chemi-Con Group Charter of Corporate Behavior, we also engage in CSR activities aimed at fulfilling our social responsibilities as a company and making broad contributions to society by engaging in honest, fair, transparent and free business transactions. We also promote CSR procurement, which fulfills social responsibilities, in our purchasing and procurement activities.
The understanding and cooperation of our suppliers, which we view as partners in our business activities, are critical to promoting CSR procurement. To promote an understanding among our suppliers of the Group's basic approach to CSR, Nippon Chemi-Con Group follows the Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct issued by Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) and asks suppliers to cooperate with regular assessments and confirmation concerning the status of CSR activities.
We ask our suppliers for their understanding of the details of these Guidelines and to apply these Guidelines towards establishing an ethical management structure and promoting CSR activities that enable us to engage in business management that gives due consideration to all stakeholders associated with our business.
