When processing terminals for the purpose of mounting, make sure to fasten the lead line and make sure that no internal stress is imparted on capacitor.
We recommend using forming products for which terminal processing has already been conducted during the capacitor manufacturing process.

The rubber seal of radial lead-type aluminum electrolytic capacitors has concave and convex sections known as an air vent structure. During flow mounting, this structure helps prevent improper soldering due to thermal expansion of air existing between the rubber and substrate surface.

Capacitors with a seal featuring a pressure valve should not be used with the seal facing downward.
Also, if placing horizontally, position the pressure valve upward or position the anode terminal upward so that the pressure valve is facing horizontally.

Recommended reflow soldering conditions for aluminum electrolytic capacitors vary depending on the type, series, size, rated voltage, etc. Please refer to the product guide for details.
