What are LC Modules?
LC modules combine coils [L] and capacitors [C] into a modular package. They simplify board mounting and effectively reduce production costs.
Electronic devices invariably include electronic components such as capacitors and coils. However, in recent years there has been a tendency for the layout of components on circuit boards to become increasingly complex as more and larger electronic components are used to improve the performance of electronic devices. Moreover, in some cases metal boards are starting to be used because printed circuit boards cannot handle the large currents. Above all, we are seeing various issues with packaging components.
In response, LC modules which combine aluminum electrolytic capacitors (one of our main products) and amorphous choke coils, can be used to increase mounting efficiency.
