Supercapacitors Transient Recovery Voltage
Transient recovery voltage may also occur while storing supercapacitors. Be especially careful when connecting multiple capacitors in series, and discharge as necessary.
Also discharge before mounting or removal. If the terminals are connected with a voltage still present, a large current may flow with a risk of electric shock. Even if supercapacitors are fully discharged, a transient recovery voltage will occur if the capacitor is left in an open state.
