About the shock resistance performance of aluminum electrolytic capacitors

For aluminum electrolytic capacitors, we set shock resistance that is compliant with JIS C5101-4.
This assumes non-periodic shock subjected during use or transportation, and does not assume continuous or periodic shock.

Shock test parameters outlined in Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) are as follows.

Waveform Sine wave
Peak acceleration 981m/s2 (100G)
Pulse effect time 6msec.
Number 18 times*1
*1 Apply shock three times in all directions of each axis (18 times in total) along the three axes (X, Y, and Z directions) perpendicular to each other on the sample.
