About the exterior material and insulation of aluminum electrolytic capacitors
The external packaging of aluminum electrolytic capacitors is not guaranteed for insulation (excluding screw terminal products).
The external sleeves are for displaying the capacitor rating and lot number, and are not designed to provide insulation. Do not use as is in locations that require insulation functions.

Guaranteed insulation for screw terminal products

Insulation resistance | A value of 100MΩ or higher measured when using a 500V DC insulation resistance tester between the terminals batched together and the mounting band, which is attached to the case covered with an insulating sleeve. |

Guaranteed insulation for other than screw terminal products
With snap-in type aluminum electrolytic capacitors, we may be able to propose exterior materials with insulation properties. Please consult with us for details.
