Supercapacitors Current Collector
The current collector in supercapacitors conducts the charged electrical charge to the collector terminal. It is an electrical path for conducting the charge collected in the activated carbon electrodes to the collector terminals (tabs).
CHEMI-CON uses aluminum foil. In contrast to aluminum electrolytic capacitors, this aluminum foil contributes almost nothing to capacitance.
