Jul. 27, 2026 RELEASE
Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation
July 27, 2026
Nippon Chemi-Con announced the development of its ASA-ML (Automotive SerDes Alliance Motion Link) camera module in May 2025. Since the announcement, development activities have continued, and technical validation is now progressing toward production readiness.
Bringing next-generation automotive communication technologies into production requires contributions from semiconductor suppliers, test and measurement companies, automotive manufacturers, and Tier 1 suppliers. Nippon Chemi-Con continues to build the development foundation required for future production programs while working with companies across the ASA-ML ecosystem.
As part of these activities, Nippon Chemi-Con showcased its ASA-ML camera module at a private technology event hosted by Tektronix, Inc. on July 7, 2026.
In addition, Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG will feature Nippon Chemi-Con's ASA-ML camera module and related signal measurement waveforms at Automotive Ethernet 2026 (July 28-29, 2026), organized by Nikkei Electronics and Nikkei Automotive.
These activities are not intended for compliance certification. Instead, they are focused on establishing the technical foundation required for future customer adoption and volume production programs. Through ongoing engagement across the ASA-ML ecosystem, Nippon Chemi-Con continues to advance production-ready camera solutions for next-generation automotive vision systems
