Statement of Support for the Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation has declared support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (hereinafter referred to as TCFD).
Our Group proactively engages in development of products that contribute to the realization of a sustainable society and reduction of environmental load generated in business activities. These engagements are based on the corporate philosophy “Contributing to Environmentally and People Friendly Technology.” Therefore, we expressed our support for the recommendations of TCFD in March 2022 to further promote responses to climate change, an important management issue.
Based on the TCFD framework, we will analyze climate-related risks and opportunities that will affect our business and reflect it in our corporate strategy. At the same time, we will engage in disclosure of financial information related to climate change.
About TCFD
TCFD stands for the “Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.” The TCFD is an organization formed by the Financial Stability Board (FSB), an organization which monitors international finance and consists of financial ministries and central banks around the world. It recommends companies to understand and disclose risks and opportunities that climate change may have on businesses.
